It is being tested and once it is ready from the oven, it will be able to bring you a new page previewing experience. It works just like flipping through alphabets in dictionary’s pages until you get to Z.
The genius idea from Google will upon the completion of a few preliminary tests be able to give you a page preview of all the links that you are trying to open. You do not have to waste time opening slow pages or refreshing them every few hours to see what is inside them. You can then be able to check out what the latest headlines are before opening the page.
Fast Flip is not just a bright idea form someone, it is already a concept that has been made real and is being tested. There have been initial tests done in collaboration with the New York Times and a number of media publishing houses so as to see how practical the application can be. Google shares monies with all those who collaborate with Fast Flip.
Once running, you should expect Fast Flip to bring you screen grabs out of all those registered publishing houses whose headlines you like to read. They are no longer excerpts of a full story but they are previews of a whole page. Furthermore, you get to see this in categories.
